Good for Body and Good for Brainon April 29th, 2012 at 5:11 pm
Happy Sunday All,
We are launching into our second week of boot camp, and we are already looking mighty fierce and strong. Now that you know what to tentatively expect from boot camp, jump out of your comfort zone in each and every session. This is how and where you’ll find the results you’re wanting. When you increase your intensity, your effort is greater, your heart pumps harder, your metabolism quickens, and the calories you burn post-workout, or exercise afterburn, extends. Not only that, ”The fastest way to a fit brain is a fit body,” reports the New York Times (source: New York Times – How Exercise Could Lead to a Better Brain). So move your body and work your mind–bring it on!
